“If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem” Leroy Eldridge Cleaver

Serving others is a great honor to Priscilla. This passion was ignited early in her life when she engaged in community service projects in her rural hometown, Vail, Arizona, and continued throughout her time at Johns Hopkins University. She worked to winterize unheated apartments and tutor elementary school students to help address the needs of underserved Baltimore residents. During her time as a Smoking Cessation Counselor, Priscilla volunteered at El Rio Health where she taught children about healthful eating habits. In medical school, she participated in the Teddy Bear Clinic; she created an MRI machine and taught children about medicine as she “healed” their stuffed animals and explained the clinical process.
